SPI NOR Flash

XMC新芯股份深入拓展特色存储工艺平台增长潜力,2017年推出自有品牌SPI NOR Flash产品系列方案,广泛应用于计算机、消费电子、汽车电子、工业控制、物联网设备等领域,成为众多知名客户的长期战略合作伙伴。 公司自有品牌SPI NOR Flash产品采用浮栅型(Floating Gate)工艺结构,工作电压涵盖1.2~3.3V,擦写速度、耐受性、数据保持等可靠性与特性指标业内领先。

SPI NOR Flash是一种采用SPI(串行外设接口)协议通信的非易失性存储器。它具有引脚少、封装小、成本低的特点,广泛应用于嵌入式系统中,常用于存储关键配置信息或启动代码。

根据接口模式的不同,SPI NOR Flash支持Standard SPI、Dual SPI、Quad SPI及Octal SPI等协议,数据传输能力依次增强,以满足不同性能需求。

从架构上看,NOR Flash可分为串行(SPI)和并行(Parallel)两种类型。SPI NOR Flash以串行方式逐位传输数据,而Parallel NOR Flash则支持多位并行传输。相比之下,SPI型号在成本和接口复杂度上更具优势,但传输速率较低。作为非易失存储器,NOR Flash具备存储容量大、数据保存时间长、擦写次数可达10万次等特点,其写入速度也显著高于EEPROM,适用于对数据可靠性和更新频率有要求的嵌入式场景。

SPI NOR Flash的特点

SPI NOR Flash的特点是它支持XIP(芯片内执行),允许应用程序直接在Flash内运行,无需将代码读入系统RAM。这使得SPI NOR Flash在小容量(1~4MB)时具有较高的成本效益。然而,其写入和擦除速度较慢,这在一定程度上限制了其性能。
